Big Time Warm Up Across the South This weekend!
This weekend we could see over thirty cities break record temperatures. Sunday temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80's across much of the Southeast and even a few 90's can't be ruled out. Across the Southwest temps could get into the triple digits! Check out this map of forecast temperatures across the country for Sunday afternoon.
Why such a dramatic warm up? Well you know the saying, that whatever goes up must come back down, that will be the case after our warm up. The reason for the heat wave is because warm air is out ahead of the cold front that is sweeping across the country. After the front passes some will see the fall weather they have been itching for. Once the cold fron passes, temperatures could drop as much as 20 degrees. Highs will only be in the 50's and 60's where, just the day before, it was in the 80's. Night time temps could hit the 30's in some places. Be sure to have those coats ready, you will need them to start off the work week. I'll try to keep updated as much as I can. Going to college and keeping up with all the weather news is challenging. Thanks also to our latest memebers for joining. We've crossed the 200 member threshold.
