Tropical Storm Emily formed in the Atlantic Ocean just east of the Leeward Islands on Monday afternoon. Emily has now moved into the Caribbean Sea and will slowly gain strengeth over the next few days. As of the 11am advisory Emily currently has winds of 40mph, it's movement is stationary; it was moving west at about 17mph, and its pressure is right now at 1007mb.Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect for Puerto Rico and Hispaniola. Emily, as of the latest is projected to take a turn towards the WNW and eventually NW, pass over Hispaniola, then impact the Bahammas. After that, Emily could be impacting Florida or heading out to open waters. Were still to far out to get a solid forecast.
