Today initially wasn't looking so good due to the fact that the storm modes were forecast to be linear in nature, instead of discrete supercells. However, even though the storms today lined out into a multi-state squall line, we were treated to an amazing lightning and mammatus display on the back side of the squall line near the town of Kearney, NE. Definitely not a bust day, at least in my book! Hope you enjoy the video
